An essay by Tom Mahon on Religions Yet to Be which was published in his blog, reconnecting.calm. Then we'll hear a chant to Saraswati by Fontain's M.U.S.E. from their album, Fire Trance. The third segment features a version of the talk Rowan did about her faith journey at the Interfaith Center at the Presidio on Memorial Day along with some thoughts on the International Day of Peace which is coming up on September 21st.

URI Interviews concluded. The first segment features an interview with Jonathan Rose, a coordinator for the Multiregional CCs. Followed by an interview with Fr. Patrick Hanjoul of Belgium, who is a coordinator for URI Europe. Next I interview Fr. James Channan a Trustee from Pakistan and I end this episode with an interview with P.K. URI Interviews continued. The first segment features Ms. Despina Namwembe a Global Trustee from Uganda who speaks about her work as a social scientist caring for AIDS patients. The second segment features a Global Trustee from the Middle East, Mr. Shlomo Alon of the Interfaith Encounter Association. The last segment is Monica Willard who volunteers as the official UN Representative of URI and who is particularly involved in the International Day of Peace. This week, in late May 2006, the Global Council of the United Religions Initiative has been meeting in Menlo Park, California. Last evening I had the privilege and pleasure to conduct a series of interviews with URI trustees and regional coordinators. his first segment features an interview of Elana Rosenman, a Multiregion trustee from Jeruselem, an interview with Kathy Sandoval a trustee from North America and an interview with Andre Porto, Latin America's regional coordinator. Further interviews will follow shortly.

The third show features a recording from listener Mark Denni that he made at a San Leandro, CA, Women of Faith gathering of Women's Federation for World Peace. The purpose of the Women of Faith gatherings is to bring women of different faiths together to share bonds of heart and by sharing to bring peace into the world. This recording features Helen Spector talking about her personal spiritual journey and some discussion of her work with the Parliament of the World's Religions and thoughts on the Interfaith Movement.
